Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The group Pierre et Vacances (8,600 employees in the world) has announced the opening of a leisure park run by holiday village operator Center Parcs (subsidiary company of Pierre et Vacances). This will be the fourth leisure park of the company in France after the ones in Normandie, Sologne and Aisne. The planned business expansion of the Pierre et Vacances group envisages the creation of 670 new jobs in the Moselle in 2010. The Pierre et Vacances group hopes that this new center in the east of France will attract customers from France, Germany, Luxembourg and Belgium. The new center will include a forest of 400 hectares, 4,080 beds and a covered water space of 5,000 square meters.
