Description

The toy manufacturer, LEGO, will stop production in Denmark. This means that 900 out 1200 employees will be made redundant during the next three years. The management expects that part of the redundancies will be employees leaving for natural reasons, not being directly dismissed. The management and the local unions are working on a plan to re-employ the employees. The production in Billund, Denmark, will be relocated to Kladno, The Czech Republic, where Flextronics have taken over LEGO's facilities.
