Description
Kléber (Michelin group), the French producer of tyres, announced on 13 June 2006 the stop of part of the production of tyres for vans in autumn 2006. The stopped production (in Toul, Meurthe et Moselle) should be manufactured in Romania, Hungary and Poland, where Group Michelin invested in new machines. According to trade unions', the social plan is expected to cut 100 jobs out of a total of 738 in Toul.
