European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 9 June 2006, Hermes, one of the leading post and courier operators in Germany, announced the creation of 130 jobs at its logistic centre in Hückelhoven. Hermes will handle the parcel services for the shopping channel QVC Germany. Hermes employed an overall number of 13,000 persons and its gross sales amounted up to 908 million Euro in 2005.
