Description
The British company Deepsea Container Terminal will invest over EUR 250 million in the construction of a logistics centre by the Gdańsk port, in the Pomeranian Economic Area. The logistic centre is a join-venture of Deepsea Container Terminal and Port Morski Gdańsk. The logistics centre will comprise warehouses, a car terminal, banks, and offices for companies handling container traffic. Most of the companies operating at the centre will be from Britain and from Belgium. The North Port now employs approximately 3,000 persons; the logistics centre is expected to add 2,500 new jobs.
