Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
On 19 May 2006 Froli Baltic opens a new production unit in Ventspils. Froli Baltic is a 100% German capital owned company, producing polyurethane components. The company is planning to expand its manufacturing and employ 100 workers in two years. The main reason of opening the production unit in Latvia is not low costs but the possibility to be closer to the target market and an existing logistics system.
