The textile multinational DB Apparel, also known as Sara Lee and by its brands Unno, Abanderado, Wonderbra, Dim and Playtex, has announced the dismissal of 900 employees en Europe. This company makes underwear in several plants in Spain and will dismiss 300 employees. The company has got several plants in Barcelona and Girona (Cataluña) and another one in Zaragoza (Aragón). The Spanish plants belong to the inversion fund Sun Capital. The closure is due to the drop in the number of sales.
