Description
Hundreds of jobs are being axed at Leeds Teaching Hospitals National Health Service (NHS) Trust in a bid to save £25m. About 430 posts will be cut as part of a cost-cutting plan aimed at saving £84m in the next three years, £25m of which is planned for this year. Chief executive, Neil McKay, said there were no current plans for redundancies and it was hoped the cuts could be met through leaving vacant posts unfilled.
