European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
LG Chem will be investing at least USD 47 million in the vicinity of Kobierzyce (Lower Silesia), in a sub-area of the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Area. By 2011, LG Chem will hire 500 people for its Kobierzyce operation, which will produce polarisation panels for LCD displays as well as pursuing research and development work for LG Philips LCD. LG Chem is part of the Korean LG group.
