European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Due to production restructuring Nordic Aluminium will start personnel negotiations. These negotiations will be held to clearify the Company's long-term operational continuance, and to specify the eventual effects of the restructuring on employees. These negotiations will effect all 200 factory workers in Kirkkonummi Factory. The negotiations will start in Kirkkonummi on May 9, 2006. Nordic Aluminium designs, produces, markets and supplies demanding aluminium products and components for the electrotechnical, telecommunications, transportation, ship building, machine design and commercial construction industries. Nordic Aluminium headquarters are located in Kirkkonummi, 40 km from Helsinki, where profiles and electrotechnical products are manufactured. Aluminium components are produced and further fabricated in NA´s factory in Nivala.
