European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 04 May 2006, Deutsche Bank, one of the leading German banks, announced to create 1000 new jobs at German locations. A time scheme for the employment expansion has not been stated. According to Deutsche Bank chair Josef Ackermann, the creation of jobs is part of its business expansion strategy.
