European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Heesung Electronics Poland will be investing at least USD 95 milion in the environs of Kobierzyce (a sub-arca of the Tarnobrzeg Special Economic Area) by late 2008; by the end of 2011, the company's investments there are expected to total USD 131 milion. Hessung Electronics Poland has officially announced that it will hire at least 1371 workers, with time, however, its workforce is likely to reach 2600 people. Hessung Electronics Poland's operation will be a supplier to the LG Philips LCD plant in the Kobierzyce area, which will produce panels for LCD screens.
