European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Panrico is a spanish company which makes bread and cakes. It has been bought by the capital fund Apax Partners and it has announned the closure of the centre that is located in Villaverde, a neighbourhood in the city of Madrid.
The company has committed to avoid dismissals and will offer early retirement or move the employees to other centres. It has not announced if the employees will be offered to move to other centres in Spain or abroad.
