European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Cortefiel is an important spanish multinational which makes clothes. Its centre in Malaga, called Confecciones Sur, is the last one in Spain after closing the other centres that the company had in the past.
172 employees will be dismissed and 106 will benefit of early retirement.
