Description

Following the aquisition of sea transport company CP Ships, the shipping company Hapag-Lloyd announced that between 2000 and 5000 jobs would be reduced at CP Ships worldwide. The 200 jobs of CP Ships in Germany, however, remain and 100 more jobs will be created at the company’s headquarter in Hamburg. Hapag-Lloyd currently employs 4000 people and will have 7000 employees in the future (including the employees of CP Ships).
