Description

Marionnaud is a Perfume Shop and Europe's largest luxury perfume and cosmetics retail chain. The distribution network of the perfumes decided to close down its 25 sites of distribution which employed 600 jobs up to now. The main reason given for the closure of the 25 stores (before October 2006) is the decision to reduce the cost of the infrastructures (sites of distribution) by limiting the establishments in the most interesting sites in France. In France, a social plan is in negotiation. Moreover, the group is developing abroad (Hong Kong).
