Stromsdal cardboard mill located in Juankoski in Central Finland has started personnel negotiations concerning all 200 employees. Company is looking for fast measures to cut back personnel costs.
According to the CEO Aarno Laukkanen dismissals are not the first option to cut back personnel costs. Other possibilities are lowering the wages, part time lay-offs and new working time arrangements.
The personnel negotiations are planned to be done by the beginning of May.
