Description

Herlitz, a German stationery products company, will close its Berlin plant and relocate manufacturing to another German site, the company announced on 7 April 2006. 143 jobs will be cut. Up to 81 employees will be given the opportunity to work for an external service provider of Herlitz under the condition that they accept wage cuts.

Since 2004 the majority shareholder of the former family business is the world wide operating investor Advent International.
