Description
Expansion at an electronics company in Carrickfergus will create 100 new jobs, its owners have said. Schrader Electronics is creating the jobs as part of a major expansion, backed by £3.5m funding from Invest NI. The expansion will bring to 160 the number of people employed at the Carrickfergus site. Leslie Morrison of Invest NI said the new plant would let the firm 'consolidate its position as a global market leader in its target business sectors'.
'The decision to locate this new facility in Carrickfergus is a testament to the skills and capabilities of the local workforce,' he said.
