Description

More than 200 jobs are to be created in Drogheda, Ireland, at the new European headquarters of a US group backed by Larry Ellison, the chief executive of Oracle. Ireland's Minister for Enterprise Trade and Employment, Micheal Martin, announced the posts would be filled over the next five years by Pillar Data Systems, with the support of the Industrial Development Agency (IDA). The San Jose, California-based company designs and builds computer data storage systems and the new facility will support its activities in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
