Remy Cointreau is engaged in the production and distribution of wines and spirits. The Company has four principal divisions. Whilst continuing to refocus on its key brands, Rémy Cointreau maintains its objective of double-digit organic growth in operating profit on ordinary activities in 2005/06, the company concluded. The firm is expected to shed 10% of its combined work force of 1,844. 126 have opted for voluntary redundancy and 55 have accepted for pre-retirement measures.
