BGN 100 million will be invested near the town of Stara Zagora, where the first shopping mall in that region will be built. The three investors - Technopolis, Mr. Bricolage (the French owned DIY chain) and Alexandra Films (the biggest Bulgarian video distribution company)- have purchased the land and will start the building of the first hyper-market on March 20 to be completed by July 12. The second hyper-market is to be completed by the end of 2006. Between 800 and 1400 people will be engaged in the building process, and up to 1000 will find work in the mall once completed.
