Description

In 2004, Siemens put in place a series of measures with the purpose of responding in the best way possible to market trends for telecommunications services. It began implementing various transformations, investments and restructuring measures to reduce costs. Siemens hopes to limit the number of direct dismissals and to open negotiations with the trade unions as soon as possible in order to study all possibilities for internal changes within the group. The Siemens Group employs 3,717 people in Belgium and Luxembourg.
