Description
Beiersdorf is planning to close its plant of skin care products in Kungsbacka, where 180 people are currently employed. This redundancy plan is part of the second step in the Europe-wide realignment of the consumer supply chain. Negotiations with trade unions will start soon. In a press release, the company insisted that individual solutions would be sought for each of the affected employees (job in another European location, retraining or outplacement opportunities, or compensation).
