Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
Europin started its business with 15 employees in city Trenčín in 1997. The company developed its business step-by-step and employed 90 employees in 2005. in February 2006, management decided to extend the production and move to another site. It will invest around €700,000 in order to establish a new plant, which will spread over more than 6,000 square meters. According to the company CEO Ján Mareček, the total production will be exported, prevailingly to German, Great Britain, USA, Canada, Poland and Singapore markets.
