Description

DaimlerChrysler Nederland will reduce its workforce by some 20% until 2008. The about 65 jobs to be cut are part of the worldwide reorganisation, announced by DaimlerChrysler earlier in January 2006. According to DaimlerChrysler Nederland, the workforce reduction in the Netherlands can be implemented without forced redundancies. The workforce reduction will be partly fulfilled via job cuts, and partly via outsourcing of personnel outside the Netherlands. The Dutch division of DaimlerChrysler is considering the possibility to outsource its activities in the field of advertisement and ICT.

The reorganisation in the Netherlands will mainly affect administrative personnel, it will also include strengthening of the most important activities in the country, which are mainly connected with sales.
