Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
The Romanian Commercial Company for Power Transmission Grid Maintenance Services ‘Smart' (Societatea Comercială pentru Servicii de Mentenanţă a Reţelei Electrice de Transport ‘Smart', Smart) will make redundant 164 employees. Employees will receive compensatory payments according to the Government Emergency Ordinance no. 8 of 2003.
Smart is a branch of the National Company of Transport of Electricity (Compania Naţională de Transport as Energiei Electrice Transelectrica, Transelectrica).
Smart provides service of maintenance in the electricity transport network, as well as different other types of services in distribution and transmission.
