Description

Rübig, the Austrian company, planned to invest around SKK 1 billion in a new industrial park located in the central-south region, a region with an unemployment rate over the national level. Quick development of automotive industry in Slovakia attracted the Austrian company to invest there. According to the available announcements by the municipality's representatives, some eight investors plan to establish their subsidiaries there and to create jobs for around 1,500 employees.

According to the latest information, Rübig's investment will reach SKK 650 million. Different machinery tools will be produced in the new drop forge plant, in which the production is planned to start in the end of 2007. In total, some 155 new jobs will be created in the forging shop (spreading out to around 9,000 square meters) till the end of 2010.

After the completion of next two shops (the assembly shop and the tool shop), the total number of employees will increase to 450.

According to fresh information, the employment effect timeline will be shortened to January 2009, instead of originally announced end of 2010.
