Description
The heart of Poland will have a new logistics park. Europolis and Poland Central decided to benefit from the strategic location of the country on the European map. Situated some 47km south of Łódź and 137km Southwest of Warsaw, Poland Central is located close to the A1 expressway - connecting the Capital Warsaw with Katowice and the region of Śląsk. This road network interconnects to the North with Gdańsk, Kaliningrad in Russia and the Baltic Republics, whilst to the South with the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Austria and Hungary thus providing a natural hub for the provision of a national strategic logistic / light production European or local Headquarters for Poland and the Region. The planned value of investment is €172 million. The logistics park is phased and will have space available for warehouse and light production of 530,000 m2. It will create between 3,000 — 6,000 new jobs.
