Description
In February 2006, Brazilian Embraco Company announced it is to expand the production in its subsidiary Embraco Slovakia by 1 million compressor units in 2006 when the plant's full annual production capacity of 4.4 million units will be reached. Production expansion will be supported by new investments of SKK 150 million and the creation of 250 jobs. According to the Embraco CEO Carlos Xavier, production expansion is foreseen till 2008. The company established its European sales and development centre in Slovakia in 2005.
