European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
The company Sanyo is specialised in the manufacture of televisions and other digital material. The company has two production centres in Spain, one in Tudela (Navarra) with 177 employees and the other one in Barberá del Vallès (Barcelona) with 100 workers. Due to restructuring measures, the company has announced the closure of the centre in Navarra with 177 redundants and the dismissal of 20 employees of the plant in Barberá del Vallès.
