European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Due to wide-spread boycott of Danish good in the Middle East the multinatioal Danish dairy, Arla, has announced that a minimum of 100 employees will be made redundant in three different dairies in Jutland. The three dairies in Nibe, Holstebro, and Aalborg are producing milk and cheese for the Middle East. The management is working together with the unions in order to minimise the effects. It is not yet clear how many exact lay-offs will be necessary.
