Description
The county council of Gävleborg (Gävleborg Landstinget) will cut 260 jobs in 2006, among which 160 at the hospital of Gävle. The number of final dismissals has not been set yet as laid-off workers will be given the opportunity to be part of an internal replacement unit within the county council. Further details regarding the redundancy plan will be decided in February 2006. The implementation of the plan is planned to start in April or May 2006 and is expected to lead to savings by 108,8 million SEK.
