Alkomet has generated a BGN 120 million revenue in 2005, 20% more than in the previous year. The factory is among the first 20 firms in terms of sales volumes in the country. The aluminium production has doubled since 2002 amounting to 27,000 tons per year. The main parts of the production - about 80% - is exported to Germany, Italy, Poland, Belgium and Denmark. ‘Our efforts now are aimed towards developing the Bulgarian market’, said Mr. Dinev.
