Description
Amadeus, the largest European online-booking company for the tourism industry, cuts 110 jobs at its location in Bad Homburg. The company, which is held by the private equity firm BC Partners and Civen, plans to cut costs by 30% till 2009. At the beginning of the year 2006 Amadeus had planned to cut 30 jobs through fluctuation and another 60 by direct dismissal. The company now announced that 35 jobs were cut in the first half of 2006 and that another 65 jobs are currently negotiated to be transfered to an outsourced company.
