Description

Management of Glaverbel announced on 13 January 2006 a restructuring programme affecting 42 of its 310-strong workforce. The double glazing unit will be affected by this decision aiming at making the company more profitable. Unions expect negociations will lower the number of dismissed employees. Early retirements measures as well as voluntary leaves will be privileged to avoid direct dismissals.
