Description
The company Detersa is specialised in the manufacture of components for television sets and other equipment. On 12 January 2006 the company presented a job reduction plan concerning 232 redundancies, 70% of its workforce. The reasons behind the measure are the closure of different customers sites such as Samsung or Panasonic. The job reduction plan will be negotiated with the labour representatives.
On 3 February 2006 the company finally agreed with the labour representatives on a job reduction plan concerning 207 redundancies. The redundants will receive an indemnisation of 34 days per year worked with a maximum of 15 months.
