Description

More than 1,500 jobs could be created with the expansion of a business park in Hartlepool. Council bosses said the £6.4 million plan by Durham-based Rivergreen Developments, is the biggest of its kind in the town for at least 15 years. It will see 80,000 square feet of new business units developed at the town's Queens Meadow Business Park. The news follows a recent announcement of a £500 million redevelopment of the town's historic harbour area. The development represents the third phase of progress at Queens Meadow. Work is expected to start later in 2006 and the first seven units could be completed within 12 months.
