European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Carrefour announced on 16 November 2005 the reduction of 1,700 jobs in France (20% of the French workforce) and the restructuring of its headquarters as well as some of its sites settled in France. The aim of the programme is to improve the competitivity of the group.
