European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Case and New Holland (CNH), a producer of construction equipment belonging to Italian FIAT, will close its manufacturing unit in Berlin. According to a spokesperson of CNH's headquarters in Turin, the development and distribution unit would not be affected. The company had to strengthen its position in the international market for construction equipment, it was said. There was no information as to how the job losses would be managed.
