European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
Lufthansa anticipates further positive development of its business and plans to hire 2,400 staff in 2006, including pilots, air hostesses and administrative staff. The airline reported that it hired an extra 1,400 employees in 2005, taking its total workforce to 92,000 people.
