Trident company opened the first supermarket in Deva, Hunedoara county (Vest region) as a result of a €4 million investment.
Trident group of companies, with head offices in Sibiu (Sibiu county, centru region) plan to set up a network of 10 supermarkets, by the end of 2007. The long-term strategy involves building 3,600 square metres stores in towns with under 100,000 inhabitants.
The outlet in Deva includes a 3,000 square metres sales area, a 1,000 square metres shopping gallery and warehousing space. The investment totalled 4 million euro and allowed to the creation of 250 jobs.
