Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.

On 16 November 2005, the Japanese company Sol-Plus opened a plastics injection factory in Timişoara (Timiş county, Vest region) following an investment of 1.5 million. The new production unit will initially provide 100 jobs. This is the company second investment in Romania. The first was a plastics manufacturing factory in Bucharest, which required funds amounting to 76 million.
