Description

A shopping mall, designed and financed by Iulius Group was opened on 22 October 2005 in TimiÅŸoara (TimiÅŸ county, Vest region). Iulius Group president, Adrian Dascalu, said the supermarket, covering 73,000 square metres, is bigger than similar shopping centres in Bucharest and other cities in Romania.

The demand of sale space exceeds the offer by 60%, with the hiring price ranging between 17 and €28 per square metre.

Iulius Mall TimiÅŸoara offered 2,000 jobs in its 200 stores.

The mall has three storeys and a terrace, hosting a banking centre, a hotel, a conference centre, a clinic, an exhibition centre, a supermarket, restaurants offering Romanian, Italian and Japanese cuisine, five cinema halls, a swimming pool, a skating rink, and a parking lot for more than 1,000 cars, free of charge.
