Borsi Hús a company based in Miskolc has officially filed for bankruptcy on 3 December 2005. The Borsi Hús meat company currently employs 460 workers. Company owners have found a larger than expected debt at Borsi Hús amounting to Ft 200-300
million. Borsi Hús belongs to the Carnex group. Carnex, with its annual sales revenue of Ft 52 billion is the second largest meat processing company in Hungary after Délhús and Pick.
