European Restructuring Monitor (ERM)
The restructuring events database contains factsheets with data on large-scale restructuring events reported in the principal national media and company websites in each EU Member State. This database was created in 2002.
On 27 October 2005, Management of Ontex announced its intentions to dismiss 200 permanent workers and 100 temporary workers. The company, based in Buggenhout has two factories producing diapers. The production will be delocalised to China.
