Ethics in the digital workplace
Digitisation and automation technologies, including artificial intelligence (AI), can affect working conditions in a variety of ways and their use in the workplace raises a host of new ethical concerns.
A €4.6 million investment will be completed at Moni MCD - Pleven to expand the production capacity, in order to respond to the growing number of orders coming from Germany, Italy, Greece and USA, the owner of the company Mr. Magdalen Dimitrov announced. Construction should be accomplished in April 2006 and start operating in May of the same year. More then 400 new working places for highly qualified employees will be created, and some more people will be hired in the existing production lines. Moni MCD, which was established in 1991, is one of the biggest employers in the Pleven region. 950 workers are currently working there. 1,800 jackets and 1,200 pairs of trousers are produced every day.
