The Bulgarian food and beverage chain Familia has opened its 23rd shop in Sofia. The investment totals BGN 200,000. Early October 2005 Familia had opened its 22nd shop in the capital and the plans for the end of 2005 foresee the opening of another 6 to 10 new shops. The company intends to have at least 30 shops all over Sofia at the beginning of 2006. Familia opens 20 new working positions every week, the company announced. In October 2005, 80 jobs were created, and 150 in November 2005. The management expects to enter the larger towns in the country. They are the first in the branch to open their own Familia university for staff training.
