Description
A total of 115 jobs are under threat at the Dairygold Consumer Foods Plant UK at Felinfach. The cheese packing plant which opened in 2000 near Lampeter in Ceredigion looks set to close due to significant over-capacity in the cheese packing sector across the UK. The £3 million packing plant was originally built by the Welsh Development Agency for the Aeron Valley Cheese Company with more than £1 million of public money.
