Description
The steel producer Outkumpu plans to cut 300 jobs in Sweden. The company's units Avesta and Torshälla will be the most affected with respectively 125 and 140 jobs being scrapped. Other plants will also contribute to the cost-cutting plan with staff reduction of between 10 and 20 employees. In Sweden, Outokumpu has about 3,000 employees working in the production of stainless steel.
